The Evonik plant is Weston is a strong producer of various chemicals we offer to clients to deliver quality to their expectations. The Process Operator in Weston will be a part of this quality process by offer producion and mechanical support to the manufacturing area. Each operator will work in a team environment utilizing hands on expertise to operate various processes from start to finish. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Monitoring processes and recording measurements 
  • Entering measurements and information into system
  • Packaging product according to spec
  • Transfering product from tank to tank
  • Collecting samples and submitting to quality for testing 
  • Working with Shipping department to confirm all product is staged correctly prior to shipment
  • Inspect package for defects
  • Collaborate with Maintenance on mechanical issues including scheduled preventative maintenance for equipment
  • Be in good general health and must be medically certifiable to wear respiratory protection equipment.
  • Be physically able to perform job duties.
  • Possess good degree of manual dexterity.
  • Ability to perform job duties with minimum of supervision.
  • Able to communicate and understand operating information.
  • Good general use knowledge of computer 
  • MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK 8 or 12 HOUR SHIFTS
  • MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK A ROTATING DAY/NIGHT SCHEDULE
  • MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK NIGHTS/WEEKEND/HOLIDAYS WHEN NEEDED/SCHEDULED 
 

REQUIREMENTS

•    HS Diploma/GED
•    Computer knowledge
•    2-4 years of manufacturing experience or chemical experience, construction experience preferred 
•    Forklift experience preferred
•    Be in good general health and must be medically certifiable to wear respiratory protection.
•    Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. without mechanical assistance.
•    Be physically able to perform job duties.
•    Possess good degree of manual dexterity.
•    Ability to perform duties with minimum of supervision.
•    Ability to observe, record and analyze process information.
•    Able to read and interpret instruments, gauges, etc.
•    Able to communicate and understand operating information.
