  • Management of the overall "Site Engineering Rhineland" department with project engineering groups for small capital projects as well as the management of the E&I production engineering group 
  • Position holder is a member of the TS Rhineland management team 
  • Ensuring compliance with all internal and external occupational health and safety, environmental protection and plant safety regulations applicable to the area of responsibility in accordance with the Group's guidelines and objectives. 
  • Active involvement in cross-site optimization projects 
  • Responsibility for planning and execution of investment projects and maintenance in compliance with specifications and guidelines
  • Further development and adaptation of process engineering & EMSR standards in cooperation with cross-site committees


  • Successfully completed technical study either in the field of process technology, mechanical engineering or electrical engineering (doctorate, diploma or master's degree)
  • Additional qualification in business administration or technical field desirable
  • Several years of experience in the continuous improvement of processes (CIP) as well as the handling of investment projects
  • Confident handling of the relevant legal regulations and standards
  • Technical and disciplinary leadership experience as well as management expertise
  • High interest in the development and implementation of digitalization projects
  • Strong communication and cooperation skills as well as assertiveness
