This is a senior level operator role who will have responsibility for control room monitoring, commanding field operators, and will also have field responsibilities such as  taking chemical samples, performing analyical tests, and checking dryers.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Control Room duties related to the Ammonium, Potassium, and Electrolytic Sodium Persulfate processes, eg. monitoring chemicals, temperatures, pressures, verifying systems
  • Completion of routine  process check sheets.
  • Monitoring of all Remote Monitoring Systems, Fire Protection System and Phone System.
  • Daily report of operations 
  • All field duties related to the Ammonium, Potassium, and Electrolytic Sodium Persulfate processes, including Raw Material Supply Systems and Environmental Systems. 
  • Routinely rotate through solution and slurry positions as business conditions dictate. 
  • Reclaim system including titration.
 

REQUIREMENTS

  • A high school diploma is required
  • A minimum of 2-5 years of production experience is preferred
  • Must be a team player who is self-directed and has good communication skills
  • Able to react quickly to emergencies
  • Control panel experience is preferred
  • This role will involve frequent exposure to hazardous chemicals and the operator will be required to wear personal protective equipment at all times, including respiratory equipment.  Operator cannot be allergic to chemicals used in various processes.  Must be able to climb stairs frequently
