The successful applicant will join the Cell and Tissue Engineering Team in the development of new products in the cell culture and tissue engineering industries.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contribute toward resolving critical bottlenecks in the cell and tissue engineering domain.
  • Work closely with a team of project managers and scientists on proof-of-concept and product development.
  • Participate actively in projects and collaborations with internal and external partners.
  • Literature review, designing and performing R&D to support project objectives as well as preparation of progress reports for stakeholder communication.
  • Procurement of general laboratory supplies, management of inventory and lab tidiness. 
 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma, Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Bioengineering, Biotechnology or similar fields.
  • Knowledge of basic mammalian cell biology and biochemistry. Familiarity with physiology, immunology, bioengineering and/or material science would be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in data collection, data analysis and data visualization/presentation.
  • Experience in a laboratory environment and familiarity with safety practices, standard operating procedures and experimental protocols.
  • Experience in mammalian cell culture as well as cell analytics and assays would be an added advantage.
  • Able to work independently and in a team.
  • Be highly motivated in mastering new knowledge domains, techniques and approaches. Be enthusiastic in generating new ideas to advance project goals.
  • Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
