RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand customers´ needs and opportunities;
  • Fulfill customers´ needs through budgeted resources of local organization;
  • Develop the ideas for customer specific local strategies and implementation 
  • Work with existing customers and search for potential customers in the country;
  • Generate, evaluate and report market and competitive information to ensure competitive advantage;
  • Provide high quality and complete data input to ensure a proper market and account management;
  • Conduct and control all elements of basic sales process, such as: offers and contracts, incl. their documentation, credit management; solve open points in processing and logistics;
  • Negotiate of contract terms (with regard to) such as quantity, payment terms and conditions or delivery terms and conditions;
  • Negotiate the price (within the price range);
  • Prepare and negotiate sales or other product related contracts;
  • Decide or propose on discounts, rebates, etc.;
  • Taking responsibility of recovery of accounts receivables
  • Responsible for dunning process;
  • Discuss individual complaint procedure with the customer;
  • Analysis of market development and potentials, propose ideas for improving own market position and exploitation of potentials;
  • Observe, analyze and report competitors´ marketing activities and strategies (e.g. products, personnel, processes) to support competitive benchmarking;
  • Contribute to local product management and innovation;
  • Manage day-to-day distribution channels;
  • Contribute to local marketing strategies.
 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor degree or higher in engineered polymers or similar disciplines.
  • Minimum 3-5 year’s sales or technical sales background in related industries. Technical working experience in masterbatch/compounding is a plus.
  • Good market and technical knowledge of plastics entire value chain (including base polymers, masterbatches, compounders/converters as well as end application). This should include understanding of requirements from customers, competition and key market players.
  • Good understanding of additives for engineering plastics and packaging, as well as compounding process.
  • Strong value selling mindset and skills. Good knowledge of key account management. Strong capabilities in distributor management.
  • Good negotiation skills.
  • Good understanding of general market trends of target industries.
  • Work closely with other colleagues both regional and global for daily work and new projects development.
  • Cooperate with technical service to provide support to customers and develop new businesses.
  • Excellent Sales, value selling, communication skills. 
  • Strong capability to establish, develop and maintain customer relationship (key accounts and distributors) at different levels/areas.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong teamwork spirit under matrix organization.
  • Capable to maintain a good industry network both internal and external to understand & evaluate market trends.
  • Have capability to make judgment (analytical skills) and make proposals.
  • Sensitive to new requirements or unmet needs of customers and translate into new business opportunities.
  • Capable to prioritize daily activities and keep focused / result oriented.
  • Excellent value selling and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, result oriented, willing to travel intensively.
  • Good English language skills both writing and speaking.
