  • Sales responsibilities for the CERAMIDES Portfolio of Product Line Active Ingredients in China (and Business Development for Hong Kong and Taiwan).
  • Independent sales and customers management (in accordance with the activity code of Evonik) of the product line with sales and CM1 responsibility in the region.
  • Management of all customer portfolio for CERAMIDES via direct sales and/or on-line sales.
  • Support the transfer of customers from Distributors to direct / on-line sales in short term.
  • Together with Regional PL-Management, development and implementation of the regional strategy and planning for the PL in agreement with the persons with global responsibility.
  • Set short, medium, and long-term business targets for sales, profitability and growth for the region.
  • Provide, as an operative function, business development support relevant functions, working close together with Marketing and BD Team.
  • Ensure that the targets for sales, CM1 and growth in the region are achieved.
  • Ensure that regional strategies for the product line and related Ceramide segment are followed based on suitable market & competition data and implemented to enable long-term, successful business development.
  • Contribute to the optimization of the planning process and customers forecast.
  • Generates and validates commercial market size estimations and value chain analysis.
  • Long-term regional development of the product line in terms of growth, developing new applications, introducing new products to ensure efficiency in agreement with the global and regional innovation and marketing teams.


  • Scientific education (Bachelor/Master) or/and commercial background in Personal Care or Health & Care desired. 
  • 5 years or more of proven sales experiences with direct customer interaction.
  • Contracts and pricing negotiation experience.
  • Specialties mindset and strong business acumen.
  • Strong communication skills and excellent team work skills in a diverse international and intercultural environment.
  • Results oriented and entrepreneurial attitude and behavior.
