RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Take the key role of introducing new Products to Asia manufacturing sites, closely work with Cross functions teams, ensure flawless execution of NPI (New Product Introduction) Process & Procedure, to meet Business requirement
  • Cooperate with Operation teams, provides Front-to-End support to manufacturing sites, escort product quality by process, supports stable operation and process optimization, trouble-shooting & Root-cause analysis etc.
  • Take positive role on Optech platform, support Asia manufacturing sites to achieve productivity target for cost saving
  • Take positive role for Product & Process innovation. Work with products development teams for new product prototype development, provide Chemistry, Process route& Technical input for new product development, scale-up and plant trial at commercial facilities
  • Experimental study for existing product Update &defense to meet Business requirement and achieve Share-gain, and process development and verification for new products introduction and process optimization
  • Take the lead of Pilot trial, support raw materials qualification to Asia manufacturing sites, and technical support to capital projects etc.
 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Master degree of chemistry and chemical engineering, specialization in organic chemistry and chemical engineering is preferred
  • Minimum 8 working years in pharmaceutical, fine chemical or petro-chemical industries;
  • Excellent chemistry, chemical engineering and process knowledge and skills, especially in  organic chemistry, reaction engineering and separation process etc.;
  • Advance knowledge and skills of working under different dimensions, from laboratory, pilot plant to commercial reactors and facilities;
  • Knowledge of process safety management system and “What-if” methodology of DHR/HAZOP/OPHR etc. and advanced knowledge of ESHQ;
  • Strong personality of Execution capacity/Results driven/Will to help, to work closely with GO Operation/Plant Quality/Plant Process Engineer/Process Safety/EHS/Sourcing and Product Technology & Service etc. teams
  • Advanced knowledges and skill of DOE for synthesis experiments, and deep understanding about analytical methods, includes: GC, GC/LC-MS, IR, ICP, NMR etc.;
  • Teamwork spirit for closely work with diversified partners;
  • Well- organized personality with Self-driven and Cool minded in stressful situation;
  • Willing to travel for manufacturing sites support
  • Excellent in oral and written English
