RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for Product Line Surface Technologies, including segment Agro and Release Coating, for the APAC region.
  • Leadership for regional PL organization. Lead and support regional PL staff, define resources for sales coverage including sales reps and channel management. Organize regional meetings to support cooperation within the segment team and responsibilities.
  • Develop and implement the regional strategy and concepts for product line to achieve key targets, including revenue, margin, costs.
  • Cooperate in developing growth strategy innovation and development of regional organization, as part of the strategy process for the global PL.
  • Cooperation as member of global Product Line team, as such contributing to global development of the PL.
  • Responsible for budget, P&L, margin in the region including planning process.
  • Develop and implement communication plans, campaigns and activities to support sales activities.
  • Positioning of segments, products and application in the market environment.
  • Product portfolio management including price management.
  • Handling of key accounts and participation in industry associations.
 

REQUIREMENTS

  • BS degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Business, marketing or similar discipline. Master’s preferred
  • Ideally 8-10 years of Sales & marketing of technical products to industrial markets. Relevant experience in chemical industry.
  • Strong industry knowledge of silicone, agro or other related, including downstream and upstream through the value chain.
  • Technical, application or product knowledge as plus.
  • Good team leader with good communication and cooperation
  • Define necessary resources to reach objectives. Lead and support hiring of regional PL staff, define resources for sales coverage including sales reps and channel management
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, communication skills. Ability to work in teams.
  • Strong negotiation skills. 
  • Target oriented, pro-active with a high degree of assertiveness, sociability and independence.
  • Collect all information and work for a solution via team approach
  • Encourages others to develop and propose creative ideas and fosters "thinking outside the box"
  • Develops innovative, promising problem-solving approaches
  • Initiates, enables and steers change and innovation processes
  • Strong skills with MS Office.
  • Excellent English in oral and written
  • Willing to travel up to 40%
