  • Responsible for regional performance (CM1) of the Industrial & Transportation market segment in GCR across product lines in support of the global growth and margin targets
  • Responsible for allocation and optimization of internal resources, e.g. sales, AT and use of external resources, incl. service level agreements in the region
  • Responsible for the regional market segment mid-term planning (“Mifri”) in support of BL targets and strategy
  • Staffing and steering of the regional cross-functional market segment team for Industrial & Transportation
  • Accountable for opportunity management and resource allocation for customer projects in the region
  • Accountable for adopting the global Market Segment strategy and its implementation in the region
  • Supporting the innovation pipeline of the market segment and alignment of Key Account strategies (incl. value pricing) as well as coordinating with other market segments and the BL
  • Supporting the implementation of the market channel decision in the region
  • Accountable for market segment internal projects, including innovation projects, AT projects or improving business processes in the region
  • Driving the GCR portfolio management for Industrial & Transportation
  • Supporting Safety and Quality initiatives in line with the EHSQ targets of the BL


  • Bachelor or above, major in chemicals/Marketing/Business administration related topic
  • At least 10 years in sales, marketing, business development, consulting experience, etc in coating industry
  • Strong capability in generating insights, gathering and interpreting relevant research
  • Pricing, market analysis/research, negotiation skills
  • Creative ability to visualize and develop comprehensive marketing programs
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills and High level of interpersonal skills with ability to drive performance
  • Good understanding of different cultures
  • Strong Leadership and team player, ability to work in a matrix organization
  • Fluent in oral and written English
