RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensuring SP-RAP meets regional targets
  • Supports the development of the global SP strategy. Developing and implementing regional business strategies. Initiating regional growth and business improvements plans
  • Monitors market changes that could impact business, e.g. changes at customers, competitors, applications, industry trends
  • Identifying business risks and initiating mitigation and business continuation plans for RAP (e.g. customer, supply, personnel, compliance, tax, …)
  • Regional coordination of Marketing projects (IDT, Customer Segmentation, New Business Development Projects, Pricing, Net-Promoter-Survey, …) and Sales projects (Distribution, Account Plans, Regional Sales Plan, …)
  • Set targets for Sales Manager and oversees customer satisfaction, ensures global alignment of targets at large multi-national accounts to optimize global profitability
  • Customer Relationship Management with Senior Management in RAP
  • Supports business manager in preparing and negotiating customer contracts, ensures contracts are in line with business strategy and with Evonik and BL guidelines 
  • Ensuring efficient business processes and business set-ups (e.g. ESCS/EITS) and alignment with BL guidelines (authority levels, credit notes, account receivables, …) 
  • Developing and adjusting of SP organization in RAP to implement Business Strategy, ensures efficient organization within BL, hiring and developing of people for SP in Asia. Ensuring tools, trainings, individual development plans and succession plan)
  • Pricing guidelines for RAP, Manage the execution of the pricing strategy 
  • Managing the Specialty Monomers Team in RAP (alignment meetings, information sharing, …)  Leads Sales, Customer Service and together with global functions Business Development, Applied Technology and Supply Chain team in RAP
  • Relation Ship Management with Röhm in Shanghai tolling business at PUMA plant
