RESPONSIBILITIES
- Understand customers´ commercial and technical needs and opportunities
- Fulfill customers´ needs through budgeted resources of local organization
- Develop the ideas for customer specific local strategies and implementation
- Work with existing customers and search for potential customers in the country
- Generate, evaluate and report market and competitive information to ensure competitive advantage
- Provide high quality and complete data input to ensure a proper market and account management
- Conduct and control all elements of basic sales process, such as: offers and contracts, incl. their documentation, credit management; solve open points in processing and logistics
- Negotiate of contract terms (with regard to) such as quantity, payment terms and conditions or delivery terms and conditions
- Negotiate the price (within the price range)
- Prepare and negotiate sales or other product related contracts
- Decide on discounts, rebates, etc.
- Taking responsibility of recovery of accounts receivables
- Responsible for dunning process
- Discuss individual complaint procedure with the customer
- Provide individual conflict resolution to the customer
- Analysis of market development and potentials, propose ideas for improving own market position and exploitation of potentials
- Observe, analyze and report competitors´ marketing activities and strategies (e.g. products, personnel, processes) to support competitive benchmarking
- Contribute to local product management and innovation
- Decide on local distribution channels
- Contribute to local marketing strategies
- Do local marketing
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor degree or above
- min. of > 5-8 year experience in sales and marketing function, or engineering design function, focusing on engineering project-based business, preferably in city gas, natural gas or oil sector
- Experience in new business/project development is a must
- Rich experience and deep understanding of dealing with state-owned companies, or Chinese local companies, preferably in city gas, natural gas or oil sector
- Experience in participating national standard making
- Strong business acumen
- Good mastery of marketing tools and methodology, and use them in real business
- Good problem solving skills
- Excited about new business development
- Be able to work under pressure
- Open minded, curious, team player, open to feedback
- Basic IT-capabilities (Microsoft Office, SAP, etc.)
- Good verbal and written English skills
