  • Maintain and develop, if required, the necessary Safety standards to ensure the security, health and safety of EPM Operations personnel, visitors and contractors;

    •Co-ordinate the efforts of and coach personnel through the development of critical documentation and tools to support risk assessments, safe work practices and adverse event/near miss reporting & investigation;

    •Participate in tracking, establishing and monitoring progress toward safety goals;

    •Work closely with other departments to ensure continual improvement and compliance in Safety activities;

    •Provide Safety direction, assistance and support for corrective actions and recommendations to assure Safety improvements;

    •Help create a culture of injury-free attitudes within the EPM MUSC team by demonstrating honest, genuine care and passion for Safety;

    •Develop and implement workplace inspections and audits to identify work hazards and exposures. Determine trends and action plans for remediation and corrective actions;

    •Responsible for ensuring that employees receive training and be qualified on Safety related topics;

    •Represent the Company to outside agencies, media and auditors on safety related matters;

    •Ensure that necessary regulatory documentation and records are maintained;

    •Flexibility regarding any other duties which may be required from time to time


  • Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Safety Engineering, a plus with Master Degree;
  • Minimum 8 years of experience working in safety field, a plus with experience on managerial level;
  • Experienced in safety management, safety risk assessment, and ISO OHSAS 18001 management system;
  • Familiar with safety working and management tools such as JSA, MOC and PSSR;
  • Fluent English skill being able to communicate in English both in speaking and writing;
  • Excellent leadership skill and high quality in interpersonal and communication skill;
  • Strong responsible for making decision with priority setting and multi-tasking capabilities;
  • Capability to make judgment on critical issues and flexibility to manage unexpected situations;
  • A plus with Certified Chinese Safety Engineer.
