RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify applicable laws, regulations and standards related to work safety; 
  • Develop and implement internal requirements and guidelines for work safety, and support to initiate & improve work safety procedures / working instructions on MUSC Site; 
  • Plan and carry out regular safety inspections, keep records, and follow up corrective actions, especially implement site safety requirements by means of on site inspection, audit and communication, including for projects;
  • Support plants/departments for daily safety service and management including but not limited to work safety assessment, work permit check & approval,JSA, on site safety advice and supervision, etc.; 
  • Supervise and support site safety management for plant shutdown maintenance;
  • Support to investigate accident / incident and near miss, follow up corrective actions for continuous improvements;
  • Support for contractor safety management on MUSC Site;
  • Contribute to safety programs to realize the concept “minimize risks, incident free”, and to achieve “zero accidents/incidents”;
  • Support projects for safety service and management, including commissioning;
  • Conduct safety training to Company colleagues and contractors;
  • Maintain necessary communication with segment/function leaders and operation colleagues;
  • Support and assist Safety Manager for other required works.
 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor Degree in Safety Engineering / Chemical Engineering / other Engineering, a plus with Master Degree.
  • Good knowledge for work safety and/or ESH related standards and regulations, a plus with ISO 45001 Management System.
  • Over 5 years working experiences, focused on work safety on site, a plus working experiences in chemical industry, a plus working experiences in international companies, a plus working experiences with construction projects;
  • A plus with China Certified Safety Engineer.
  • Good English skills in both oral and written;
  • Good interpersonal, teamwork and communication skill;
