  • Development of new hollow-fiber based membrane products in close cooperation with the implementation team
  • Transfer of new product concepts into cost-efficient products in close collaboration with lead product designer
  • Improvement and optimization of existing membrane products in terms of performance and costs
  • Modification of products based on customer requests (in collaboration with the application technology department)
  • Development of new production processes for gas separation membranes
  • Scale up of production processes from lab to pilot scale and full scale level
  • Consulting & leading teams during start-up phase and troubleshooting sessions
  • Keeping track with latest membrane-related developments within scientific world (patent and scientific literature) and work with internal/external collaborators, i.e. research institutes, etc.
  • Propose ideas for future membrane products (new applications, new types of membranes, new polymers, etc.)


  • Degree in chemical engineering or material engingeering, preferably having a PhD
  • Expertise and track record in membrane formation and / or membrane gas separation
  • Good communication skills, backed by a good command of English and German
  • Innovative and creative
  • Independent, team-oriented style of work
  • Flexibility with a high degree of personal responsibility and initiative
  • Project management skills
