Summary

The Total Rewards Manager will develop, implement and manage the Total Rewards program for the NA Madrid organization.  This role is responsible for the design, implementation, communication and administration of the NA Madrid organization's competitive compensation and benefits programs to ensure attraction and retention of a high performance workforce to meet the business objectives.
 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Compensation

  • Analyze, design, implement, and report on all compensation, incentive, and benefit plans, programs and policies and procedures for competitive purposes, ROI and cost analysis.
  • Analyze and adhere to government regulations concerning all pay & compliance and while establishing competitive plans.
  • Research and evaluate market pay levels and trends and participate in appropriate surveys to develop programs and pay to best attract, retain and engage talent and support pay-for-performance strategies and initiatives.
  • Perform and manage market analysis including competitive market position.
  • Analyze compensation data, both internal and external, to identify trends and make recommendations, as well as, establish and implement compensation practices, policies.
  • Design, administer and analyze company car program

 
Payroll

  • Manage Payroll function to ensure organization’s payroll is administered and processed in compliance with all federal, state and local regulations; and in accordance with Union CBA’s; ensure that payroll is processed accurately and on time.

 
Benefits

  • Design and develop best in class benefits strategies to attract and retain an innovative, high performance workforce.
  • Recommend benefits programs to management by analyzing industry trends and developments in benefits.
  • Supports management's decision making by analyzing benefit options and predicting future costs.
  • Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; obtaining qualified opinions; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  • Continuously monitor the market, partner with our broker and other vendors; drive the design and management of benefits programs, ensuring that the benefits are competitive, cost effective and equitable
  • Work closely with 401k/Retirement Plan Consultant to ensure compliance with all retirement plan rules. Perform quarterly investment reviews, audit and compliance testing, calculates and funds employer match/profit –sharing contribution
  • Oversee administration of disability, Leaves of Absence, FMLA, Parental/Bonding leave and Worker’s Compensation
  • Administer and manage internal Tuition Reimbursement Program
  • Designs and executes annual Open Enrollment; including system updates, testing and writing communications
  • Expedites delivery of benefits by establishing and maintaining working relationships with benefit providers.
  • Achieves financial objectives by preparing the benefits and department operational budgets; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
  • Oversee Leave Administration and Accommodation processes.
  • Administer company retirement plan; including all required audits and compliance tasks.
  • Research and collaboration with health and welfare broker and vendors to improve delivery of the benefits function and identify and implement benefits to increase employee quality of life
  • Evaluate existing and proposed benefits vendor products and tools for alignment with total rewards strategy and for ROI/cost effectiveness.
  • Evaluate services that are managed through vendors or internally
  • Develop and monitor adherence to service level agreements with vendors

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related discipline required. Relevant certification required (i.e., CCP or CEBS or SPHR or SHRM-SCP)

  • A minimum of 8-10 years' experience in the analysis, design and administration of total rewards programs.
    5+ years’ experience in leading a Total Rewards function with strong vendor management experience required. (i.e., benefits plan and design, salary structure, management incentive program design and implementation, variable pay program design and implementation, benchmarking, etc).

  • Detail oriented; demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent fluency with data and analysis.

  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and presentation skills required. 

  • Advanced MS Office skills required; experience and ability to navigate various software programs required.

  • Ability to work independently and on a team. 

  • Ability to travel as needed
