Summary

The Marketing and Sales Analyst position will assist the Resource Efficiency-Silica Marketing and Sales organizations by being an expert user of our various systems to provide good tools for steering our commercial organization.  The individual will also directly assist the sales and marketing personnel by continuous communication of key information. They will also be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and updating our CRM data with respect to forecasting, market data, account assignments, opportunity management, and complaint management.
  • Supporting pricing management in terms of list price maintenance, implementation of pricing tools, transaction monitoring, and price increase implementation / analysis. 
  • Handling customer communications and mailings, literature, etc.
     

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Forecast Data:  Provide periodic reports and assist Sales team with entry of forecasts into CRM.
  • CRM:  Creation / clean up / correction of account assignments, market data, opportunities, complaints.  Generate reports for follow-up of Forecast, Samples, Opportunities, and Complaints.
  • Pricing:  Price list maintenance, implementation of pricing tools, transaction monitoring, and price increase implementation / analysis including customer and distributor notifications.  Maintain log, e-file, and paper file of price letters, contracts, NDAs, etc.  Enter CSRs to keep database accurate with current product pricing.  Prepare customer rebates for processing by Customer Service.  Verify distributor rebate invoices to be processed by Finance. 
  • Budget:  Support budgeting process with marketing and sales, assisting with budget planning.
  • Handle special tasks associated with trade fairs, customer communications, mailings, email blasts,
  • Preparation of reports:  state regulatory report; monthly sales volumes; Michelin Commercial Goal milestones: Silica & Silane Pricing, Diversity Reports, Timeliness Reports, Sales Reports.
  • Assist with special projects
     
 

REQUIREMENTS

  • BS/BA in Business Administration or similar
  • Minimum 2 years’ of experience, 5+ years preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong computer skills  - Microsoft Office - Excel pivot table knowledge
