The position provides customer and sales support. The tasks  are to plan and coordinate customer order processing as well as to assist sales with developing existing, new and planned supplier customer business relationships.



  • Applies knowledge of the assigned business areas to efficiently and accurately plan and coordinate customer orders, credits, complaints, returns, sample requests and request for product information.
  • Plans and coordinates delivery dates with customers based on product availability
  • Plans and coordinates shipments with overseas logistics personnel
  • Tracks and traces order ship date, customs clearance and delivery date for customer deliveries directly from overseas plants using SAP and Excel tracking sheets
  • Coordinates order logistics with external warehouse personnel to meet customer and sales expectations
  • Responds to customer inquiries
  • Provides support to the Commercial Team in an effort to develop business relationships and promote sales
  • Performs a variety of duties to facilitate the flow of information to customers, sales, marketing and various other internal and external service providers
  • Maintains customer master data in support of the account requirements
  • Participate in projects / initiatives, training of new employees, covering for other team members


  • H.S. diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience minimum within Customer Service, Logistics, or Supply Chain
  • Chemical industry experience preferred, or experience in a similar industry
  • Proficient user of Microsoft products:  Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Word
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Clear voice, Professional tone
  • Ability to work in a team environment
