Purpose of the position:

  • Represent Evonik’s BL Care Solutions in the market and achieve organizational objectives to grow business share with direct customers.
  • Manage business to expand the portfolio of Care Solutions, to increase the footprints of Evonik in India.
  • Develop new business and ensure complete customer satisfaction by providing unmatched quality service.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop account plan by understanding customer brands, markets, strategic goals & plans, build multi-level cross functional relationships.
  • Create & Implement Business plans & strategies; set & deliver commercial targets annually aligned to organizational goals.
  • Own full account responsibility & collaborate with different functions to meet customer needs.
  • Develop & manage a strong & healthy project pipeline with direct & indirect customers & drive projects to commercialization.
  • Drive Distributors to achieve the sales target & increased market share with their key customers.
  • Manage OWC - Payment terms agreement, Account receivables, Inventory management, etc.
  • Monitor & report sales performance, initiate & manage the mitigation plans and project future performance.
  • Lead the New Customer Acquisition process through focused and targeted prospecting, and continuous involvement in the marketplace.
  • Systematic sales implementation using D365 tool & designed go-to-market approach by adopting localized value propositions.
  • Understand Industry demographics & track market changes and trends including new sales techniques, products or applications, competitor offerings and impact on customers, customer needs, legislation, regulations, technologies, etc.
 

Education, Certification and / or relevant experience required:

  • B. Tech/ M. Tech in Cosmetics / Bachelor’s degree in Science/ Chemical Engineering with minimum 8 years of experience in Sales of Personal & Home care specialty chemicals are preferred.
