RESPONSIBILITIES
- Initiation and management of cross-functional supply chain and network optimization projects, from target definition to successful implementation
- Analysis and evaluation of supply, production and distribution networks
- Formulation, development and implementation of innovative concepts and solutions (e.g. Digital Network Twin) for network optimization, considering division-specific supply chain strategies
- Development and expansion of methodological competence and best practices
- Identifying trends and driving initiatives to support team/department leadership
- Actively shape stakeholder relationships to continuously evolve the service portfolio
REQUIREMENTS
- Successfully completed degree in logistics, engineering or business administration with a focus on supply chain management or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in SCM with focus on design and optimization of complex, global supply chain networks, ideally in a consulting environment or with high affinity to SCM consulting
- Extensive experience in using supply chain optimization software (e.g. Logivations, Supply Chain Guru or other common tools) as well as SAP knowledge in the area of SCM, APO and IBP
- Basic knowledge in the area of mathematical optimization models, as well as operations research
- Excellent consulting and project management skills as well as customer-oriented and structured way of working
- Business fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
- High level of commitment and ability to work in a team as well as analytical thinking skills
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally (approx. 30 %)
