  • Determination and assessment of toxicological, ecotoxicological and physico-chemical data, including the assessment of hazard and risk of chemicals
  • Classification and labelling of substances and mixtures according to regulatory requirements (mainly EU CLP regulation), determination of worker safety and environmental safety measures
  • Preparation of registration dossiers according to international legislation like REACH and TSCA
  • Professional representation in internal and external committees, consortia, associations regarding substances-specific and general scientific and regulatory issues
  • Option to lead the group of Hazard & Risk Management



  • Successfully completed academic studies of chemistry, veterinary medicine, biology, food chemistry, pharmacology, toxicology or related areas, PhD is an advantage
  • Several years of professional experience in the area of interest and specific qualification in the area of toxicology
  • Very good knowlegde in MS office applications and software dedicated to toxicology, e.g. exposure assessment, identification of toxicological and physico-chemical information
  • Distinct skills in communciation and teamwork; leadership skills are an advantage
  • Very good knowledge of German and English language (fluent in written and spoken communication)
  • Willingness to travel
