The Production Operator will perform all operations necessary to support the large-scale synthesis of quality pharmaceutical intermediates and final bulk products in a safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible manner.



  • Accurately documents work and observations in written form and on computer platforms
  • Follows written and verbal direction
  • Can successfully perform all technical procedures safely within an area of responsibility
  • Effectively communicates/interacts with coworkers and customers within and outside of the department
  • Can independently troubleshoot and resolve most routine problems
  • Maintain training requirements to stay in compliance
  • Wears all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including a tight-fitting, supplied-air respirator
  • Part of the site emergency response team for a 5-year period


  • At least 3 years of general manufacturing, industrial maintenance, or military experience within the last 10 years, OR 2-year technical degree in chemical manufacturing
  • Relevant experience in chemical manufacturing, food processing, or GMP (good manufacturing practice) is preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts rotating day and night, 3 days on/3 days off, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to pass all required assessments.
  • Ability to be a part of the site of the emergency response team
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance on a routine basis
  • Able to enter confined space for internal inspection
  • Able to work in a high noise/high temperature environment
