This position is part of a multi-skilled team working in the central maintenance area performing a variety of capital and maintenance work to promote maximum up time. In this position, you will help support the strengthening of the collaboration between maintenance, reliability, plant engineering, and energy management and operations. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Perform all duties in accordance with all applicable regulations and company policies (e.g. Quality, Safety, and Environmental).
•    Focus on continuous improvement
•    Troubleshooting electrical equipment
•    Preventative maintenance on existing equipment
•    Redline, update, and maintain electrical prints
•    Actively participate in safety initiatives
•    Demonstrate and follow safe work practices
•    Execute weekly work schedule and adjust to reactive requests as needed
•    Support engineering and capital projects
•    Timely reporting of all deviations to management
•    Follow strict documentation practices

•    Ensure maintain the work area in a state of cleanliness and sanitation through good housekeeping 
•    Ensure the safety of the personnel and product by wearing PPE according to the operation being executed. 
•    Follow all GMP/CDI guidelines
•    Documents and update SAP/PM module system daily

 

REQUIREMENTS

•    A minimum of 4 years Electrical experience
•    Provide high level of customer service
•    Multi-skilled with other crafts such as welding, pipefitting, mechanical maintenance, HVAC, etc. 
•    Ability to work independently and as a team member
•    Strong mechanical aptitude
•    Strong computer skills (knowledge of SAP a plus)
•    Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
•    Previous experience in an industrial workspace (plant, construction, etc.-4+ years preferred) 
•    Strong troubleshooting skills
•    Understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC) strongly preferred
•    Ability to read and red/line Electrical schematics strongly preferred
•    Experience in the installation of fiber optic systems
•    Thorough knowledge and experience in lighting, heat trace, production equipment, motors, control, and power distribution systems. 
•    High school diploma or equivalent required
•    Must be willing and able to complete required ITP training.
