RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Processing, Checking (plausibility check on the JV reference no, movement type, profit center, cost center & etc) and Posting of journal entries (provisions, accruals, deferred taxes, prepayments, Hedging, payroll, taxes and etc) raised by the Local Service.
  2. Determining, setting up and posting of recurring entries (if there is any).
  3. Reconciling the figures between FI and PCA and investigating the variances
  4. Executing the program to transfer the data of sub-ledger from FI to PCA
  5. Executing and Reversing the PCA Cycles and ensuring completeness of segmentation
  6. Downloading the data from PCA Interface and uploading the data to Common System (PW1 )
  7. Identifying, Checking & Correcting Validation Errors
  8. Reconciling the data of Common System and R11 and investigating the variances
  9. Uploading the data of various Financial Statement Version to GTC
  10. Reconciling the data of Common System and Polar and investigating the variances
  11. Identifying, Posting & Checking the completeness of entries related to reorganization
  12. Conducting the activities in Runbook and ensuring the activities are performed within the set timeline
  13. Generating ICS Documentation (Internal Control)
  14. Supporting LS in terms of local and external audit
  15. Render guidance and review to the Junior Analyst / Analyst on work related matters and act as a backup in the absence of TL.
  16. To continuously explore alternatives in driving process improvement and harmonization for entities across APAC.
  17. Assist in trouble shooting, decision making, identification and communication of potential issues.
  18. Review and update the working instruction/standard operating procedures
 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Holds a Bachelor Degree or Professional Qualification in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of relevant working experience.
  • A team player, meticulous, able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Good communications skills both verbal and written in English. Proficiency in Mandarin would be an added advantage.
  • Computer literate and competent in Microsoft office, preferably have experience in SAP system, Business Warehouse
  • Exposure to shared service environment would be preferred.
