  • Ensure safety and availability of ELV Systems for the whole site.
  • Design, install, repair, maintain, operate, inspect, test and take full charge and responsibility for all ELV Systems
  • E&I Plant Engineer for the ELV equipment of the whole site including ownership responsibilities
  • Continuously optimize the maintenance process and realize technical changes to improve the production site.
  • Be the focal point for IT related topics to ensure adequate representation of the entire organization
  • Provide technical expertise and oversight for E&I maintenance and initiate technical changes to the instrument and electrical systems required
  • Identify and implement potential cost savings and safety related items.
  • Provide cost estimates and engineering support
  • Focal point Electrical issues for ELV Systems
  • Take over on a regular and scheduled base the E&I on-call engineer duties


  • Bachelor or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering, Process Controls or equivalent

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering activities in the chemical or petrochemical industry

  • Strong computer / IT skills (Microsoft Office, SAP, IT-Network, Telecommunication, etc.)

  • Ability to work with a focus on safety, quality, productivity, and environmental concerns\

  • Usage and understanding of technical drawings such as P&ID’s, electrical and instrument drawings and equipment manuals is a must

  • Able to handle strategic and day-to-day business tasks in a very demanding and challenging environment

  • Able to perform field work in chemical plant environment, handling highly hazardous chemicals
