The designated lead for the PSM Mechanical Integrity program on site, provides support to the engineering and maintenance teams and drives the program. Is responsible for developing and maintaining procedures and ensures the application to code requirements. Maintains the RAGEGEP for the site and trains when needed and informs the team of any pertinent updates.  Provides technical support to the maintenance team for the site utilities and infrastructure.  Helps to ensure efficient operation of the utilities, maintains compliance to ISO 50001 requirements as required, drives improvement activities with the assistance of the plant engineering, regional resources, and the maintenance teams, and maintains and communicates KPIs.  Is responsible for implementing capital projects for the Hopewell and Richmond Business and Innovation Center as directed by engineering management as it applies to infrastructure and facilities.   Serves as the equipment reliability lead for the site to ensure consistency when needed, in particular is responsible for the reliability of the utilities and infrastructure but supports the production plants as well. Works with Engineering team and Maintenance to ensure the transfer of Process Safety Information as it applies to Equipment maintenance and mechanical integrity programs is completed effectively. Supports and drives when assigned other sitewide initiatives where engineering influence is required and as assigned.



  • A core responsibility of this position is to take full ownership of the mechanical integrity program for the site.  This includes Inspection scheduling, coordination, reviewing/interpretation of reports, and ensuring completion of recommendations. Developing and improving procedures as required.  Works with maintenance and the plant engineers. maintains RAGEGAP and informs team of changes.                                
  • Manages Site and infrastructure related projects as assigned.  Manage production plant related projects as assigned, typically related to infrastructure and utilities, but could take on plant related projects where expertise allows and where priorities dictate.                            
  • Serves as the lead for the reliability program on site as needed in support of the plant engineers and maintenance.  Ensures consistency across the site and plants.
  • Supports the Richmond B&I center for technical and project management. Typically facilities and infrastructure related topics as assigned.    
  • Ensures Process Safety Information transfer to MI and Maintenance programs is completed effectively in support of the sitewide PSI program.        
  • Serves as a leader or participates in other sitewide initiatives or programs where skills and ownership applies.  


  • Education: B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or Chemical Engineering
  • Related Experience: >5 years of Industry Experience            
  • Special Training or Competence: Background in maintenance or plant engineering preferred                    
  • Equipment/Software Skills: Computer literate in Excel, Word, and SAP.
