RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and grow the business line High Performance Polymers business in Italy
  • Actively representing products of the business line High Performance Polymers in Italy
  • Looking for new potential customers
  • Managing all major activities at existing customers (e.g. visits & customer relationships, price negotiations, contracts, new product introductions, samplings)
  • Managing all side topics at existing customers, such as complaints or payment behavior
  • Managing new development projects incl. commercial and technical aspects assisted by technical experts 
  • Scanning the business situation in the region (markets, customers, trends, potentials, threats, etc.) 
  • Reporting all activities in a timely and proper manner 
  • Participating in both, internal (e.g. sales meetings, trainings) and external (e.g. trade fairs) events 
 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Successfully completed technical university degree or extensive work experience in the required area 
  • Several years of professional sales experience in Italy within the polymer industry, ideally in the automotive, sports, medical or optic industry 
  • Very good experience and a strong network in the required industries 
  • Independent and responsible support of globally represented customers and expansion of business
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications and the willingness to familiarize yourself with new software tools 
  • Excellent knowledge of Italian and very good English skills 
  • Willingness to travel nationally (up to 60%) and occasional international trips within Europe
