Supervise all warehouse activities in accordance with DOT/RCRA regulations, Environmental, Health and Safety Policy to ensure meeting plant/customer requirements.



  • Ensure all Logistic personnel are conducting themselves in a safe and professional manner daily.
  • Conduct daily safety talks and report any safety concerns/incidents immediately to management.
  • Lead Logistics team in the Environmental Management System (EMS) to ensure meeting all regulatory compliance and pollution prevention.
  • Properly manage RCRA storage facility in accordance with all state and federal regulations.
  • Keep current with RCRA, DOT, IATA and IMDG regulations.
  • Properly manage warehouse inventories to ensure accuracy, manage physical inventory of all materials, and maintain housekeeping standards.
  • Operate Logistics department within budgetary requirements.
  • Monitor incoming/outgoing shipments for quality, consistent packaging and consistency with BOL's/Manifests. Ensure full compliance with all regulations.
  • Develop procedures for storage, shipping, receiving and ensure full compliance with these procedures by conducting training/auditing functions.
  • Track and evaluate personnel performance.
  • Evaluate departmental workload and adjust tasks and assignments to ensure work is completed.
  • Anticipate company growth and adjust department manpower to meet needs.
  • Order/manage departmental and plant supplies (packaging, labels, shipping materials, etc).  Monitor production needs for SSB’s, drums, bins, etc and adjust inventory as needed.
  • Evaluate and test new vendor packaging as opportunities arise.
  • Conduct environmental audits as per plant and government requirements.
  • Review and update JOF's daily to ensure meeting all customer requirements.
  • Back up Logistics Coordinators during illness, vacation, etc.
  • Manage Lacassine Warehouse activities
  • Ensure all procedure and checklists are being followed for all Logistic activities (all sites)
  • 3rd party warehouse management
  • Manage catalyst surplus program with direction from Houston Sales personnel
  • Complete all customer inventory reconciliations and reporting.
  • Performs and assumes other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the immediate supervisor.


  • HS Diploma/GED
  • 3+ years’ experience in a supervisor role
  • 3+ years warehouse management & logistics experience  
  • Knowledge of inventory systems and shipping techniques of hazardous materials
  • Experience working with DOT Regulations
  • Must have knowledge and experience with EHS (environmental, health, and safety) standards with hazardous materials
  • Computer skills: Excel, Word, Outlook, SAP
  • Leadership skills: comprehend and give directions, organize multiple tasks, keep work area organized
  • Must be available for work as normally scheduled & work beyond 8 hours a day and weekends as necessary
