RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establishing a global structure for working on regulatory issues in the Cleaning Solutions product line (CS PL)
  • Co-shaping and implementing the sustainability strategy of the Care Solutions business line (CS BL) and of Corporate Sustainability
  • Following up on registrations in line with chemicals legislation within and outside Europe as well as coordinating requirements resulting from chemicals legislation with the contacts in the regions 
  • Monitoring further necessary measures for product registration in line with European and international biocide legislation, coordination with the commercial functions of the CL PL regarding the financial and personnel resources for registration 
  • Representing the interests of the Care Solutions business line in industry associations
  • Prepare product data records for cleaning products
  • Obtain information on regulatory issues from internal and external sources
  • Cooperating in internal and external bodies on the drafting of and compliance with statutory and/or private-law requirements 
  • Internally distributing information on legal demands and supporting the implementation of resulting measures 
  • Answering questionnaires from customers of the CS PL, conceptual work on the provision of product information on the Internet 
 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Successfully completed university degree in chemistry, food chemistry, chemical engineering, or a similar qualification 
  • Professional experience in industrial regulatory affairs 
  • Advanced knowledge of European and international chemicals law 
  • Confident use of IT tools needed for the registration process (such as IUCLID, REACH-IT, CHESAR) and of expert databases 
  • Basic knowledge of toxicology and ecotoxicology as well as of physico-chemical characteristics of chemical substances
  • Very good English language skills, written and spoken, German language skills would be advantageous
  • Pronounced conceptual and analytical skills as well as high customer orientation
  • Self-motivated and independent work approach as well as excellent communication and team skills 
  • Willingness to travel
