RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining the HACCP concept at the Darmstadt/Weiterstadt site and managing the HACCP team at the site as well as monitor the defined critical control points and
- Assuming PCQI tasks for the affected products and maintenance of the Food Safety Plan for the Darmstadt and Weiterstadt sites
- Responsible for executing batch control, release/blocking of raw materials, intermediate and end products
- Ensure the correct application of relevant quality processes such as change control procedures, deviation management, action tracking and complaint handling
- Defining specifications for the assigned products and raw materials as well as checking quality-relevant documents of production and analytics
- Interface to contract manufacturers in all aspects of quality, including co-auditing and defining and evaluating measures
- Represent the quality department in superordinate projects or projects of other departments, also in international teams as well as central contact person of the pharma & food Ingredients product line for FOOD / NUTRA topics
REQUIREMENTS
- Successfully completed scientific degree, preferable in food chemistry, food technology or chemistry/biology as engineer or with doctorate
- Several years of professional experience in the field of quality or related areas such as HACCP, pharmaceutical quality management and GMP manufacturing or regulatory affairs
- Good overview of production processes and plants of the pharma & food Ingredients product line
- Knowledge of international food regulations and ideally of other regulations in the fields of quality management (ISO 9001) and pharmaceuticals (e.g. EXCiPACT, IPEC-GMP)
- Very good written and verbal English language skills
