The position is responsible for the MRO warehouse which includes: receiving parts, organizing them on the shelves and managing the items in SAP. This role is responsible for kitting materials for maintenance, goods issue and MRP.  They are responsible for organizing the shipping of repair items, both domestically and internationally. The position is important to keep the inventory accuracy between physical counts and SAP. In this role they need to keep the free stock updated which includes: lab, safety and maintenance items

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Organize the MRO shelves for inventory and free stock items physically and SAP, ensuring an accurate inventory, locations in SAP. 
  • Regularly execute counts on shelves to guarantee inventory.  
  • Daily checks on pick tickets for kitting materials for maintenance.  
  • Interface with Maintenance Techs, Production Resources, engineers, and contractors. 
  • Execute all SAP transactions: goods receipts, goods issue, MRP, shipping, etc. 
  • Interface and participate with the maintenance team to improve the efficiency of maintenance works.   
  • Coordinate shipping and receiving parts, equipment, and all other items both domestically and internationally.
  • Complete all necessary documents and work with 3rd party shippers to schedule deliveries and pickups. 
  • Run the MRP process, making sure each material is fulfilled and approving the Purchase Requisitions. Based on usage, make suggestions to improve stock and find opportunities to reduce stock on slow-moving inventory. 
  • Accurately count and identify shipments to ensure all items in the shipment match with the manifest. 
  • Use a forklift to move parts in and out of the warehouse. 
  • Help with the organization and issuing of parts and equipment for the plant. 
  • Able to work side by side with another warehouse specialist, together divide tasks, and work as a team. 
  • This position acts independently in task with minimal supervision for day-to-day activities. 

  

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent  
  • 3 to 5 years in Logistics/Warehouse operations 
  • Experience using Microsoft office (Emphasis in excel) 
  • Ability to lift 30-50lbs independently/consistently throughout the shift 
  • Organization skills with attention to detail 
  • Communication skills verbal, written, and electronic 
  • Prior experience using SAP software preferred. 
  • Previous forklift experience/certification preferred
