  • Perform all duties in accordance with all applicable regulations and company policies (e.g., Quality, Safety, Environmental).
  • The Maintenance Data Steward will act as the subject matter expert for the CMMS for maintenance.
  • Primary Trainer on how to use and navigate thru the maintenance portion of CMMS
  • Makes all CMMS updates as needed based on requests from engineering, maintenance, operations, etc. This includes PM
    changes, asset info changes, etc. for equipment across the site.
  • Ensures completed maintenance documents are checked in to the equipment library – Completed Task Forms, Calibration
    Certificates, etc.
  • Ensures all asset records and information is correct and current in CMMS maintenance module.
  • Ensures that appropriate spare parts, PMs, Calibrations, etc. are attached to the equipment in the CMMS.
  • Assist with internal and external audits as required.
  • Assist in revising and routing of maintenance documents including task forms, equipment action forms (EAFs), work instructions, etc.
  • Assist maintenance supervision to ensure all completed task forms and calibration certificates meet Good Documentation Practices
  • Calibration Standard Responsibilities
  • Responsible for managing the inventory of all site calibration standards
  • Ensuring the Standards stay current within Calibration frequency windows
  •  Work with the maintenance and production areas to secure time frame to complete work 
  • Report any deviations on calibration standards immediately and assist with deviation
  • Participate in supplier audits, maintain good working relationship, liaison between Evonik and selected supplier, and evaluate cost associated with this partnership.
  • Transmit original files and documentation to the QA Document Control Room.
  • Quality Responsibilities
  • Adherence to all written Standard Operating Procedures
  • Timely reporting of all deviations to supervision
  • All training must be completed and current and must understand assigned duties
  • Ensure Good Documentation Practices are being always followed
  • Ensure to maintain work area in a state of cleanliness and sanitation through good housekeeping practices.
  • Ensure the security and safety of the product through reporting of any potential risk to supervision immediately.
  • Everyone should report any action that they believe could impact Safety, Integrity, Strength (potency), Purity, and Quality (SISPQ)
  • Partner with the production area to secure a maintenance window to complete the work.
  • Partner with operations, engineering, Equipment Reliability, and the maintenance group to address, investigate, and resolve
    equipment related issues.
  • Partner with the Equipment Owner or Plant Engineer assigned to their area of responsibility. Communicate the weekly schedule to
    the operations area(s). 
  • Work with Engineering to coordinate Capital project delivery for their areas of responsibility
  • Adhere to ESHS programs, rules, & procedures.
  • Assume personal accountability for individual behaviors related to ESHS activities.
  • Have the appropriate knowledge and tools prior to performing a task.
  • Complete all required ESHS training and always remain current with applicable learning plans.
  • Report all injuries to Employee Health Services or Security and supervision within the same shift of the incident occurring.
  • Inform direct supervision of any ESHS hazards or concerns in the workplace.
  • Provide feedback and coaching to coworkers on both safe and unsafe behaviors and conditions.



  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 3- 5 years manufacturing experience, with demonstrated success, experience in a GMP regulated industry. i.e. manufacturing, pharmaceutical or medical device industry is a plus but not required
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with a variety of customers
  • Demonstrated computer skills in CMMS system, SAP/ Maintenance Module a plus, Word, Excel, etc.
  • Excellent planning, organizing, and documentation skills
  • Strong communications skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work independently
  • Understanding of cGMP fundamentals to include, but not limited to Good Documentation Practices is a plus but not required.
  • Prior experience with the maintenance department is preferred.
  • Sound judgment; ability to be flexible.
