  • Demonstrate personal proficiency of aseptic technique with minimal supervision while working in Grade D/C cleanrooms and Grade A filler/isolators
    •    Demonstrate ability to consistently clean and sanitize clean rooms to levels required and measured by the quality microbiology department
    •    Demonstrate ability to consistently clean and sanitize production equipment and assets through manual or automated means which include hand wiping, clean in place, steam in place, or other mechanisms of cleaning
    •    Actively participate in general area housekeeping and stocking of consumable supplies; keeping simple inventories and cycle counts of consumables
    •    Seek out and identify opportunities related to the maintenance, calibration, and improvement of company facilities, equipment, and procedures
    •    Perform other duties as required by supervisor
    •    Routinely train on and then execute work instructions which include forms, logs, test protocols, GLP or GMP batch records, and other paper or electronic records associated with manufacture of polymer excipient products
    •    Accurately perform complex, multi-step solution preparations with direct supervision
    •    Assemble and disassemble process equipment on multiple unit operations for an extrusion, microsphere, liposome or polymerization process with direct supervision
    •    Operate PLC controlled equipment with direct supervision, including adjusting set-points as directed in batch records
    •    Use basic hand tools required for equipment operation
    •    Execute in-process environmental monitoring with direct supervision
    •    Participate in the execution of IOQs with direct supervision
    •    Perform other duties as required by Manager or Lead Operator
    •    Strict adherence to safety practices and procedures including use of personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriate for the type of hazard and exposure potential
    •    Demonstrate the ability to follow procedures without mistake or error and to take accountability for identifying and escalating non-conforming situations appropriately as defined by procedure
    •    Perform responsibilities in compliance with the quality systems as described in Evoniks’ Quality Manual
    •    Adhere to all company safety, health and environmental policies, procedures and directives
    •    Interact with auditors in the professional and knowledgeable manner that reflects our emphasis on safety, compliance, and quality; demonstrate high ethical standards expected of an employee manufacturing a human medicinal product


  • High School Diploma or equivalent; AA Degree in technical area preferred 
    •    1-2 yrs. experience within an operations facility and pharmaceutical experience preferred
    •    Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Ability to perform calculations when supplied with the equation, and basic computer skills
    •    Ability to read and follow detailed written instructions
    •    Thorough understanding of all general lab glassware; basic understanding of system controls and data logging software
    •    Previous shift work experience preferred
