  • Lead, individually drive, or support projects of Business Lines, Divisions, Region, or Group.
  • Identify new business opportunities via desktop research & customer approach (aligned with Business Lines).
  • Act as sales representative or coordinator for Businesses.
  • Help launch products into new markets or specific local applications.
  • Initiate, facilitate and support cross-Business Lines/Division, resp. cross-functional activities.
  • Support regional management (incl. Business Lines/Functions) to develop & implement regional growth agendas.
  • Monitor macroeconomic and market trends, competitive landscape and socio-political environment.
  • Maintain a strategic growth roadmap for Evonik in Thailand, in alignment with Business Lines.
  • Search and identify potential M&A targets based on profound insights of local market dynamics.
  • Support advocacy approach, help build-up and maintain Evonik network with strategic stakeholders.
  • Liaise and coordinate with key stakeholders in Cluster and Region, inside and outside of Evonik.
  • Ensure alignment with Businesses and Functions to prioritize resources and maximize impact.
  • Actively share knowledge and best practices locally, regionally, and globally.


  • Degree in Science, Technology, Mathematics, Engineering, preferably chemistry or chemical engineering.
  • Experienced professional (>5 years of relevant working experience required).
  • Work experience in sales, marketing, account management, and/or business development required, preferably in the chemicals industry.
  • Work experience and an extensive local network in paints, coatings, adhesives and/or construction industry is advantageous.
  • High degree of self-motivation, initiative and drive.
  • Excellent communication skills in a diverse, international and intercultural environment.
  • Excellent team player, with an engaging and amiable personality.
  • Experience in doing data analysis and presentation is advantageous.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Thai.
