The Crosslinkers Sales role is a field-based role supporting the growth of the business line through account management and business development.  The territory ranges from Southern Ohio to Florida.



Meet or exceed volume, revenue, and margin targets for the territory.

  • Defend and grow existing business and identify new opportunities in the territory.  Maintain an active opportunity pipeline.
  • Manage customer pricing with marketing.
  • Provide forecasts to supply chain and marketing
  • Develop and implement account plans for select accounts.
  • Negotiate and execute multi-year supply agreements that meet our commercial requirements while also offering competitive advantages to our customers.
  • Work with marketing, technology, and commercial support functions to execute growth plans and meet business objectives.
  • Communicate market intelligence and account updates for customers and markets through timely submission of call reports.  (Market trends, product performance gaps and competitive information are key topics for the account manager to provide back to the organization.)
  • Build strong customer relationships, gain trust, respond to customer needs in a timely fashion, and create an environment where customers feel at ease working with the Account Manager.


  • BS in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering is desired.  
  • Previous experience working in a laboratory involving coatings, adhesives, or composites would be beneficial.  
  • Prior chemical sales or chemical marketing experience is not required but would be a plus.
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
